HABITAT

The first game that I'll be reviewing would be habitat by 4gency. Being the so called "space edition" of AMD's Never Settle Gaming bundle I went with the spaciest of the games offered.

Habitat Main Menu, Habitat Game
Screenshot of the Main Menu is a Spaceshot :D

This is an early access version - game is still in development stage. However, even in this unfinished state this game is just gorgeous. I always loved building/upgrading and this game is all about just that. If you loved playing with lego you are gonna like this game. This is basically lego but it in space.

You start with a single "Habitat HQ" which sorts of act like a space station / main base, floating in space. There are a lot of junk which are floating HQ which you can (with the help of your engineers) pick and attach to your station. It's kinda difficult to capture the gameplay in words so I'll just upload a video once I get a stable connection.

Edit: okay as promised video uploaded:

The game has a combat mechanic, which is kinda cool as your weapons would be constructed by attaching and combining different floating debris. See pic:
Statue of Liberty Laser

Oh yeah you saw that right, they got the freakin head of the statue of liberty shooting lasers out of its crown... lol you will see a lot more of these hilarious items floating around waiting to be discovered., fire breathing T-rex-CHECK, Dubsteppin speaker-CHECK, robot arms-CHECK.. and the list goes on... I won't spoil the game for you by telling you everything ;) what I'll tell you is that I did had a good laugh out of this game

This is my Matter Accelerator Build :D
Habitat
Seen here approaching a Space Station....
Shooting space station
then blasting it to pieces with accelerated projectiles >:D

This game is epic. It's as if Minecraft and SimCity had a baby.. hehe in space to top it off.

The possibilities are endless as every piece of debris/module you add to your habitat does not only provide cosmetics but function as well. These pieces also interact with each other which is awesome (i.e. place laser behind lens will focus down its power and extend its range)

Be sure to check back to this page as I will be adding more videos of the gameplay and my in-game creations. This game is still pegged as "early access" so things are still being added at the moment, I on my part will keep myself posted on whatever hilariously crazy epic stuff they're going release on this game.

Graphics:  80 (artistic and beautiful to look at but not in Crysis graphics way)
Audio:       90 (beautiful explosions and engine sounds with decent voice acting)
Gameplay: 90
